Owen seemed to like his
first time out in the snow (at least for the first couple of
minutes).

Our next door
neighbor threw quite a surprise birthday bash for his wife, Mary
Pat Sullivan. John rallied his band to provide live
entertainment for the party, which was held in a Soho loft.
John encouraged audience participation.
Here is a picture of our other next door
neighbor, Kathy Jessop belting out the tunes with Liz while John
jams the bass.

pictures. Click here to see some
video clips
of some live performances.

Here is a slideshow with
a few pictures from our January 2005 trip to Pittsburgh for the
Steelers Jets AFC Playoff game.
It was an amazing victory against the Jets. In a tense
overtime thriller, the Steelers proceeded to the AFC
championship game after Jets kicker Doug Brian's two missed
field goals. |

There was a lone Steelers flag hanging from the McGinley's house
on Adams Street in Garden City, NY. January 15, the
Steelers won to the Jets in Pittsburgh getting them one step
closer to Super Bowl XXXIX. |

It
is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tom's
great aunt-
Margaret Rooney Laughlin. Aunt Marg was a very special
person within the extended Rooney-Laughlin-McGinley family.
Here is a picture of Tom's Aunt Margaret
(left) and grandmother (right). The two were best of
friends. Both are dearly missed. |

Santa found his way to the McGinley house on Christmas Day.
Owen seemed a little bit suspicious of the man in the red suit.

One
of the primary furnishings within the McGinley home is an oil
painting of the famous Steel Curtain of the 1970's. The
mural was painted by a Pittsburgh artist named
Ron Donoughe. Ron is
a good friend of Tom's step-father, Paul.

Last October- we surprised Liz's mother, Mary Ann with a
birthday party at our new house. Friends came from as far
north as Nantucket and as far south as Florida to attend.
A good time was enjoyed by all.

Moving into a new neighborhood is a little bit like a box of
chocolates. You never know what your going to get.
Fortunately, everyone we've met in the new neighborhood seems
very nice.
One particular neighbor is a little bit of a local celebrity.
Here is a picture of our next door neighbor,
John Sullivan, jamming out with the
legendary Roger Daltrey of The Who.
John's wife, Mary Pat was kind
enough to send him to
Rock & Roll Fantasy Camp as a special
birthday gift. Newsday did a story on John and his
experience at the camp that made him famous.
