Just when it seemed like
things couldn't get much better for Owen, he was whisked away
to endure a grueling summer on Nantucket.
During the summer, his Grandpop McGinley, Aunt Amy and Uncle
Drum traveled to Nantucket to visit Owen.

Here are a few pictures
from Owen's first few weeks of life. While waiting for his
new home to be ready to move into, he had it pretty good at his
grandparent's place, where he had a staff of five (or more at times)
carefully attending to all of his needs.

Owen Thomas McGinley
Born Saturday, May 22, 2004 at 12:43 a.m.
7 lbs., 7 oz.
We were very happy to announce the birth of Owen Thomas
McGinley. After some 18 hours of labor, Owen finally
joined us.
Little did we know at the time, Owen's lucky Steelers baby hat
would bring unprecedented fortune to the team in 2004!
